Gain the Experience and Knowledge You Need to Become a Licensed Dental Hygienist.
Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç is the only university in the Chicagoland area to offer a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.
The responsibilities of the dental hygienist in the clinical setting continue to expand. Obtaining a bachelor's degree will not only prepare you to be a successful and more marketable dental hygienist, with a mastery knowledge of dental anatomy, clinical dental skills and patient care - but provide you with the career flexibility to advance into positions in public health, research, dental pharmaceuticals, or to pursue a master’s degree in a health-related field.
Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç has partnered with various local colleges to offer this unique and affordable 2+2 Dental Hygienist degree program.
Our partnerships allow you to take advantage of the strengths and resources of both Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç and the excellent dental hygiene programs offered by these colleges. The first two years of the program will be completed at Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç, in which you will study sciences such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology and more.
The remaining two years will be completed at one of the following partner colleges, at their tuition rates, where you will take dental hygiene courses and start your clinical rotation working on patients:- in Glen Ellyn
- in Champaign
All of our partner program colleges are all fully accredited by CODA, the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
All of these colleges offer excellent facilities for dental hygiene students and boast an impressive pass rate on the national boards for both the written and clinical portion. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive your Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç.
