SET BREAKDOWN
SET 1: Emmanuel 25, Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç 23
Emmanuel opened the first set with an aggressive 5-2 run started by kill by Guerrero creating a three point cushion for themselves. Soon after the Lions piled on with a commanding six point unanswered run pushing the score to 13-6.

As the set continued late, the Flyers fought their way back in the score column with a crucial four point unanswered run after back-to-back kills by  (Cranberry Township, Penn./Seneca Valley HS) tying the score at 20-20. This did not stop Emmanuel as two more kills finished off the Flyers to close the first set at 25-23.

SET 2: Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç 25, Emmanuel 15
Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç decided to pursue an aggressive offensive start of its own to begin the second set as the Flyers capitalized on a 9-2 run started off a kill by  (Gurnee, Ill./Warren Township) to put them up 9-3. The scoring went back and forth throughout the remainder of the set as Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç stayed on top and expanded its lead with a four point unanswered run including two aces by Roquet to increase the deficit by 10 at 23-13.

A kill by Todorov and an Emmanuel attacking error gave Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç the final two points of the set ending the scoring at 25-15.

SET 3: Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç 25, Emmanuel 17
The third set kept both teams close early on until consecutive kills by Feeney and Michael to put the Lions up 6-4. A returning 6-1 run by Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç quickly reversed the scoring putting the Flyers on top 11-8.

Late in the set, Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç reached match point with a four point unanswered run ended with an ace by Todorov but Emmanuel responded right away to stay alive with a 3 point unanswered run of their own bringing the score 24-17. Roquet put the set away by scoring the final point with a kill to conclude the third set at 25-17.

SET 4: Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç 25, Emmanuel 11
The Flyers stretched their dominant run into the fourth set of the match as a kill by Hoying ignited a four point unanswered run to go up 4-0. Midway through the set, Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç stayed hot with a 9-2 run increasing their lead to double-digits at 10 with the score at 16-6.

A five point unanswered run again for Õ¬Äи£ÀûÉç capped off with two Emmanuel attacking errors locked down the set win for the Flyers as they won 25-11.
